EMIGRATION FROM SOUTH PETHERTON TO VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA, 1839 - 1900

From 1839 a number of South Petherton people emigrated as assisted passengers to Victoria, Australia.
Many of them were young and they either married or raised families in this far-off land.

They included members of the Caller, Churchill, Davey, Davis, Elliott,England, Follett, Hart, Lawrence, Male,
Porter, Stuckey, Warr and Wines families and many more.

Graeme Elliott has offered to try to find details of these families (from Immigration, Birth, Death and Marriage Indexes,)
for researchers wishing to find out more about their family members, who made the journey from South Petherton to Victoria.
